INFO:
"Tepepa," also known as "Blood and Guns," is a classic Italian Spaghetti Western featuring Tomas Milian and Orson Welles, directed by Giulio Petroni. It was a co-production with Spain, where it was released under the title "Tepepa... Viva La Revolución."
TASK:
My task for this project was to revamp a scene from the movie script.
SOLUTION:
I opted to redesign the set for a scene in Tepepa's village horse barn, transformed into a makeshift surgery. The key was to create a well-lit area for the doctor to operate and a cozy spot with hay for the girl to rest post-surgery. I aimed for a rustic, straightforward ambiance with flexibility for the director to experiment. I even designed a movable wall for dynamic shots. Additionally, I included an exterior wall to capture scenes of patients waiting for the doctor's advice.
